If you are over 50, our Bike 50 programme can help to introduce you to a healthier lifestyle and the benefits of regular exercise. Cycling with others, socialising as you exercise, can really add to the beneficial effects of exercise.

Regular exercise can:

  • improve balance and flexibility
  • lower blood pressure
  • defend against heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes
  • help maintain cognitive function
  • reduce depression and anxiety

Bike activities are led by experienced volunteers who will meet you at the start and lead the way. No advanced booking is required - just turn up at the start and join in.
